Day 1, Accomplished

Made enchiladas. Forgot to set out sour cream and lime wedges, but did get dinner on the table promptly at 5 (a miracle). Girls raved. Felt happy. Went home. Husband made brownies. Gorged. Now headed for a blissful coma-like state of slumber.

Tomorrow, a.k.a. Day 2: Quiche Lorraine, using pre-fab pie crusts. Should take considerably less time and effort than said enchiladas.

What girls are you talking about? And are these brownies your husband made homemade?

How fun! I can't wait to hear more of the wonderful food you'll create for these girls.

Yes! Homemade brownies! If that's not the ideal husband, I don't know what is. :) They were also microwave brownies, which are shockingly delicious and are really fast. As for the girls -- these are the sorority girls I'm cooking for this school year. Yippee!

Wow, I don't know how you can cook for that many people. I could never do that.

I think you need to start a picture recipe blog of all the scrumptious dishes you're making for these girls! If the pic thing is too much, maybe just post recipes - I'd love to have them! :)
