On the July 4th weekend, R and I bought one of those big canopy things to give us some shade on the beach. We got a good deal on it, but we figured that since we have it, we better use it, right? So today, we made the drive through Logan Canyon to Bear Lake (so beautiful!) and spent the afternoon on the beach.
L absolutely LOVED the water -- kicking, splashing, crawling, eating sand, and she even voluntarily stuck her face in the water twice! This bodes well for our mommy-and-me swimming class we're starting on Monday (wahoo!).

yeah! I'm glad baby lizzy is pro-lake. When we went up, she seemed ifie about the water idea. That's really so awesome. Ben and i are ready to come up again. However, we were wondering about your 24th of July plans?
