Yesterday my mom sent me a recipe for breakfast: Combine an egg with 1/4 cup milk, pour it over a slice of bread, sprinkle on some ham and cheese, salt and pepper to taste, and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. I made it this morning, and it's awesome. Only I used cubes of a stale baguette, and we didn't have any ham. But all the ingredients were local -- milk, egg, cheese, bread, salt -- everything but the pepper and the fruit I ate it with. Rock on, locavores!
